The invisable way to straighten your teeth without braces. The most commonly known invisible braces are called "Invisalign"TM, It is a "no brace technique", which is a revolutionary system for orthodontic treatment.  This system utilizes the latest in computerized technology and three dimensional modeling to generate a series of clear, see-through aligners. These clear aligners are specially fabricated to fit your teeth exactly and over time they slowly move your teeth into a better position that gives you a beautiful smile. They are virtually unnoticeable when you are wearing them and therefore are often referred to by many patients in China as "invisable braces".

 

Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. The aligners are made through a combination of our Doctor's expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology. You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move-little by little, week by week-until they have straightened to the final position our Doctor has prescribed. You'll visit our Doctor about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

 

As of 2011, Invisalign is now offered in China and our Doctors at IDC Dental are among the first in Beijing to be properly certified. There are other local brands that uses similar technology but these are not Invisalign.
